The ceremony took place in the framework of an external session of the Board of RosGeo, which was held in the Russian Ministry of Natural Resources in the honor of the Company Day. The celebration was attended by representatives of RosGeo, relevant departments of the Ministry, Federal Subsurface Management Agency, as well as employees of the Holding subsidiaries from different regions of the country.

The many years of successful activities of the largest Russian geological holding are ensured by the contribution of over 15 thousand employees. All of them carry out their production duties with honor, strengthening the prestige of the geological industry. Today is the birthday of RosGeo, and I am pleased to consummate the work of the best employees with the deserved awards, "- said the Minister.
Dmitry Kobylkin presented the honorary certificates of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation to Nadezhda Melnikova, the head of the storage fund of Research and Production Center "Nedra" (Yaroslavl), and Sergei Shirshov, contracting director of RosGeo (Moscow).
During the celebration the medals "Honorary Prospector" and diplomas of Federal Subsurface Management Agency were also awarded to the employees from across the country attending the meeting on-line.
“Today's awards are a recognition of the merits of people, who chose a very difficult but important profession, and honestly and conscientiously perform their duties, laying down a reliable foundation for long-term economic development of Russia," Sergey Gorkov, General Director - Chairman of the Board of Rosgeo, said.
At the end of the meeting the head of the Russian Ministry of Natural Resources also said that this year RosGeo has been included in the list of strategic organizations of the Russian economy. This will allow the company to receive the state support measures to preserve the leading positions of the sector of minerals and raw materials, ensure the security raw material base and social stability.
