Sergey Gorkov, General Director – Chairman of the Board of RosGeo took part in the celebration events timed to the anniversary of Yevgeny Kozlovsky, Minister of Geology of the USSR in 1975-1989, Honored Scientist of the RSFSR, Vice-President of the Academy of Natural Sciences, outstanding scientist, who has made a huge contribution to development of the national geological industry, who today is celebrating his 90-th jubilee.

E.Kozlovsky enters the constellation of outstanding Russian geologists. He personally participated in discovery of deposits of the most important types of mineral raw resources, such as oil in Western Siberia, diamonds near Arkhangelsk, tin in the Far East. At the position of the Minister E. Kozlovskiy founded the powerful, well-equipped fleet of the industry, the mineral resource potential of the country has doubled, the sector set a world record depth of drilling on the Kolskaya borehole.

Your example inspires us and makes us reform and develop RosGeo and national geology in general, - noted in his congratulatory address S. Gorkov. - Let me wish you health, successes, including in your creative activities: you said today that you start to write your memoirs. I think this is very important: that the future generation have someone to look up.
