Sergei Gorkov, Director General - Chairman of the Board of RosGeo held a meeting with the rector of MIPT Nikolai Kudryavtsev and heard a presentation of the projects of the Moscow Physical-Technical Institute, including those dedicated to hard-to-extract minerals, marine geophysics and digital geology.

Also at the meeting, in particular, the speakers presented the works in the fields of modeling and application of hydraulic fracturing, study of the Bazhenova suite, efficiency improvement in development of deposits with involvement of digital technologies and artificial intelligence.

The head of RosGeo noted the importance of personnel development in the geological industry: “The solutions that have been presented, certainly, deserve the attention. The Bazhenov suite is a kind of challenge for engineers, capable of becoming a driver for development in the field of mining of hard-to-extract hydrocarbon reserves."

S. Gorkov and N. Kudryavtsev discussed the training of specialists in the magistracy for the interests of the Holding and establishment of scientific and technical service in the field of petroleum engineering.

RosGeo and MIPT successfully cooperate in various fields. Thus, jointly with Yuzhmorgeo (a subsidiary of RosGeo), they perform the bottom seismic exploration with application of low-noise high-sensitivity sensors, and a number of other studies.
