“Beginning of a strategic partnership with RosGeo is the most important stage in reproduction and development of Seligdar resource base, it will contribute to the further growth of the company, - said Konstantin Beirit, President of Seligdar. - We have established the first joint venture, we are involving RosGeo to field activities in two other projects and consider new projects for development of the cooperation.

According to the contract Seligdar receives a share of 65% in RosGeo subsidiary that holds the license for Chulkovo field. In addition, Seligdar gets a call-option to purchase shares of RosGeo (25%) and NDIA (10%) in the joint venture after receipt of positive conclusion of the state expert assessment of the feasibility study for permanent exploration conditions of mineral reserves in categories C1 and C2.

Seligdar will carry out the operational management of the joint venture, it also will fund the performance of geological surveys at Chulkovo field to the extent necessary for assessment of the reserves. RosGeo will conduct the complete set of the geological exploration in the licensed area, and after entry of the reserves to the balance sheet will provide the geological support to the field development.

Earlier RosGeo had conducted the geological surveys at Chulkovo field, which resulted in identification of a significant potential in terms of detection of industrial-scale deposits with high content of gold and silver.

In the framework of other areas of cooperation RosGeo will perform activities at the sites of Seligdar under individual contracts, including conduct of geological surveys at the deposit field Kiriestekh in Aldan district of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and reserves assessment at the underground field Semenovo area in Krasnoschokovo district of Altai Territory.
