Today on the sidelines of St. Petersburg International Economic Forum RosGeo and Kazan (Volga) Federal University signed a cooperation agreement. The document was signed by Sergey Gorkov, Director General, Chairman of the Board of Rosgeo and Ilshat Gafurov, Rector of Kazan Federal University.

The agreement envisages the performance of joint comprehensive research and development activities in promising areas of geological exploration, training of students to meet the needs of RosGeo, employment of graduates, joint vocational guidance activities, establishment of on-job training opportunities for teaching staff of the University in the Holding, retraining and advanced training of the Holding managers and specialists.

“The resolution of the personnel issues in the sector is a key objective for us today, - said Sergey Gorkov. – That is why we cooperate so actively with the universities. To date, the Holding has signed the agreements with 60 specialized educational institutions of different levels. The cooperation includes the development of special courses and educational programs, targeted training of young professionals in educational institutions, conducting on-job training on the basis of the Holding companies, cooperation in the area of research and development. We are glad that today we have such a serious partner as Kazan Federal University in this work".

The University is included in the State Register of especially valuable objects of cultural heritage of the peoples of the Russian Federation.
