RosGeo and Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (National Research University) have signed a cooperation agreement. The document was signed today in the margins of St. Petersburg International Economic Forum by Sergei Gorkov, the General Director - Chairman of the Board of RosGeo and Nikolay Kudryavtsev, rector of MPTI.

The agreement envisages joint research and development activities in the promising areas of geological exploration, training and retraining of qualified personnel, development of personnel capabilities and attraction of graduates to work in the geological industry.

Also, the parties are willing to cooperate in organization of vocational guidance activities for pupils and students, development and upgrading of educational programs, employment of university graduates, creating opportunities for on-job training of MPTI teaching staff in RosGeo.

“We studied the projects of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, including those on hard-to-extract minerals, marine geophysics, and digital geology," noted S.Gorkov. – We were presented with the works in the fields of modeling and application of hydraulic fracturing, study of the Bazhenova suite, efficiency improvement in development of deposits with involvement of digital technologies and artificial intelligence. These are all very interesting developments. I am confident that cooperation between the Holding and MPTI will contribute to the development of the industry, elaboration and implementation of innovative technologies."
