Rosgeo, the Nigerian Geological Survey Agency of the Ministry of Mines and Steels Development, and African Export-Import Bank have signed a Memorandum of Understanding for scientific and technical cooperation within the framework of Russia – Africa Economic Forum, today.

The document has defined the main areas for cooperation between the Parties, which include research and development in the field of basic geology, compilation of geological maps, methodology and technologies of geochemical mapping and remote sensing, and airborne geophysical survey. The database construction, mineral resource exploration methodology and technologies, and marine geology are also referred to the key areas for trilateral cooperation.
