The delegation of RosGeo took part in St. Petersburg International Economic Forum - 2019.

15 cooperation agreements have been signed on the sidelines of the event. In particular, the holding made the arrangements with Gazprom Neft and the Government of Tomsk region on technology partnership in the field of survey and effective development of hard-to-recover and unconventional hydrocarbon deposits.

RosGeo and St. Petersburg Mining University, Kazan Federal University, MIPT agreed on cooperation in the area of personnel training. The agreement signed with Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation envisages the secondment of RosGeo employees to trade missions of the country abroad.

A significant number of agreements on expansion of collaboration in the area of geologic surveys have been signed with the regions including Tatarstan, Yakutia (Sakha), Nizhniy Novgorod and Murmansk regions.

In addition, a number of documents have been signed with major mining companies: JSC Zarubezhneft, JSC ALROSA, JSC Polymetal. These mean the opportunities for further growth of the holding portfolio of orders.

In addition, a trilateral agreement on cooperation in the field of science, education, establishment and implementation of innovative technologies was also signed with Russian State University for Geological Prospecting n.a. Sergo Ordzhonikidze and the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan.

RosGeo and Gazprombank reached an agreement on establishment of the company to be specialized in funding of exploration activities. The fund is to be established in 2020.

The management of RosGeo reached an agreement with Russian Direct Investment Fund on establishment of RosGeoLab, the center of competences. The agreement signature means the establishment of an investment fund in the purpose of venture funding of geologic exploration activities.

The panel session “Digital management of underground deposits” was held under support of RosGeo, the session moderator became Sergey Gorkov, Director General - Chairman of the Holding Board. The representatives of the federal government, business and scientific community discussed the digitization of production, application of unmanned equipment, processing of large amounts of diverse data, including involvement of blockchain technology.

In addition, the chief executives of RosGeo held meetings with representatives of NK KazMunaiGas, Gazprom Neft , MFC Astana, Indian company Srei, State Committee of Industry, Energy and Subsurface Management of the Kyrgyz Republic, Far East Agency for Investment Involvement and Export Support, University Synergy, Mail.ru Group, National Oil Company of Azerbaijan, Oman company Petrogas E&P LLC.

“In general, the forum was quite productive for the holding, - said S. Gorkov. - the meetings and negotiations will contribute to resolution of a number of issues existing in the industry, as well as to growing of the holding portfolio of orders. We signed a good package of agreements intended to development of human factor, scientific and research activities, separately, with large mining companies and authorities. In my vision, the documents signed with Russian Direct Investment Fund are of particular importance: elaboration of tools for involvement of investments into Russian geologic exploration is one of the most important today’s objectives. Also agreement signed with the Ministry of Industry and Trade will give a new impetus to development of RosGeo operations overseas. I would like to express my thankfulness to the organizers of the SPIEF for this necessary and important event and wish that in the future it will become only more interesting, more pertinent for business and more useful for economy of the country."
