Representatives of RosGeo participated in the second meeting of the Intergovernmental Russian-Bahraini commission on trade-economic and scientific-technical cooperation. The event was held in Moscow under the chairmanship of the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov and the Minister of Industry, Trade and Tourism of Bahrain Zeyad R. Al Zeyani.

RosGeo has been successfully developing cooperation with Bahrain for several years. On September 6, 2016, the Holding and the Bahrain state oil and gas holding Nogaholding, following the results of negotiations between Russian President Vladimir Putin and King of the Kingdom of Bahrain Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalif, signed a Memorandum of understanding in the field of the geophysical oil and gas survey, exploration and production. Currently, RosGeo is implementing a project that envisages the implementation of the integrated regional geophysical works on the land and shelf of the kingdom following the order of an entity incorporated within the oil and gas holding.

The representatives of RosGeo told of the progress in the surveys.

The meeting participants approved the development of cooperation between RosGeo and mining companies of Bahrain. The final protocol has been updated with the appropriate records.
