A business meeting chaired by Sergey Gorkov, Director General - Chairman of the Board of RosGeo, representatives of the Holding and Kazgeologiya was held in the office of RosGeo. The delegation from the Kazakhstan side was headed by Almaz Abdygalimov, the Chairman of the Board of Kazgeologiya.

The parties made a decision to establish the Working group on cooperation, agreed on and signed the Plan of activities for 2019-2020 on the development of cooperation, discussed the priority sites for joint geological exploration, as well as opportunities for licensing the lithium field on the territory of the Russian Federation.

One of the priority areas for development of international activities for RosGeo today is the market of CIS countries. In May Sergei Gorkov paid a visit to Kazakhstan, where he held a meeting with the Prime Minister of the Republic Askar Mamin. They discussed the opportunities for expanding the cooperation in the field of geological prospecting and exploration of mineral resources both in the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation. In addition, he held the negotiations with NK KazMunayGas and signed an agreement on cooperation with Kazgeologiya.

“The meeting was conducted within the framework of the activities envisaged by the agreement signed in May, - said Sergey Gorkov. - The first meeting of the established Working group is planned in August-September, where certain projects will be discussed in detail. The potential of this cooperation is very great".
